Iowa Winter Kind of Day

Brrrrr! About 10 degrees today and snowing. Needless to say we will be spending the day indoors! Piper spent a lot of time in the front porch, looking out the door, watching the snow come down. I sat next to her for awhile. It never ceases to amaze me or surprise me when I see the wonder in her eyes as she watches something new or unfamiliar. I sat and stared at her, every feature on her face, and to this day it still blows me away that she's mine. She's beginning to say some small words, like "no", "thank you", "mommy", "daddy", and "uh oh". She'll try to pronounce about everything though. She's been saying mommy and daddy for awhile but every day it's like she learns something new. I'm sure there will be lots of that!
