Eskimo Kisses
Still a cold snap here in the midwest. I think we've been spoiled these last couple of winters. They've been pretty mild. Last night I had just gotten home from work with Piper and normally I carry her into the house, but last night I parked the car in the garage and set her on the ground because I had other things to carry. I held her hand and she walked with me. We walked down the drive way and as we got near the grass which was covered in snow, she stopped and walked towards it. She walked in it and stomped around and looked up at me and smiled. It was the first time she had walked on snow. It was sooo cute. I totally took that experience for granted. I never even thought to let her walk through it or play in it. Its been too cold to go outside and it just completely escaped me. It was such a special moment. She's also learned to kiss. She's done it for awhile, but she's fine tuning her skill. :) Last night she kissed me on the cheek and smacked at the appropriate time and had her mouth closed for the most part. After she did it, I said "Aww Thank you!" So then she did it on the other cheek, to which I replied "Awww thank you!" Then she would laugh! So this turned in to a game as you can imagine. Such a sweetie. :)
