Day 4....
Ugh. Still going strong with whatever this damn bug is. Piper was starting to look a little bit better on Monday morning, but as the day wore on she started to become more lethargic and clingy. She felt warm, so I took her temp and it was 103! I gave her some tylenol and some motrin a little bit later and alternated those pretty much ever since. She also started having diarrhea that evening. Horrible yellow soupy looking diarrhea. After the first one it was so watery that it just absorbed into her diapers. Now her butt is red and sore. She still had a fever and diarrhea yesterday but seemed to be improving otherwise. Then last night she started throwing up again! She's at my mom's today but I just feel awful for her. Mom said she threw up a couple times again this morning and that she has changed her diaper 6 times just in the morning.
SOOO far *fingers crossed, knock on wood, etc* Brad and I haven't gotten it. I just want her to feel better. She's miserable and neither one of us has gotten much sleep. I almost stayed home today but last night I thought she was getting better so I asked mom to watch her and then we had another bad night with the vomitting.
Poor little peanut. If she isn't better by tonight/tomorrow I'm going to have to take her to the doctor. Mom says she takes a drink of water and then throws up. She was taking pedialyte and gatorade pretty well for me, but mom said today she won't touch those and will only drink her water. I know there isn't much the doctor can do, but I want to make sure she isn't dehydrated. Can't wait to get home and snuggle her!
